Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy covers PuckIt (puckit.gg), Cappit (cappit.gg) and futsal.gg, which are one game service run by the same small team (“we”). It applies wherever you play: on our sites, inside Discord as an Activity, or embedded on another site such as CrazyGames or itch.io. We collect only what we need to run the games, and we don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Your account, if you sign in. With Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username or display name, and avatar. With Google we receive your Google account ID, name, profile picture and email address. Inside Discord (the PuckIt Activity), sign-in uses your Discord account in the same way. When you sign in through CrazyGames, we receive your CrazyGames user ID and username.
- Your screen name and game progress: wins, stats, levels, coins, items, loadout (body type, look, jersey number, goalie mask), academy progress, leagues, seasons and tournaments.
- Matches. We record matches as replays, including player movement, scores, and the in-game chat and voice-command messages sent during them. Replays are kept with their screen names and can be watched by other players.
- Chat and moderation. Messages you send in the game, reports you make or that are made about you, and any mutes or bans. For moderation we store a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
- Email, only if you give it to us. If you opt in to updates we store your email address and when you opted in, and send mail through Amazon SES. Every email has a way to stop them.
- Purchases. If you buy credits, Stripe processes the payment. We store a record of the purchase; we never see or store your card details.
- Technical data. Our servers log IP addresses, browser type and connection quality (for example network latency), which we use to keep the games running, pick the nearest server and fix problems. Your browser keeps a random device ID and play-session ID in local storage, and a sign-in cookie if you sign in.
- Usage statistics. We run our own analytics (Umami, hosted on our servers) to count visits and see which modes are played. It doesn't use cookies or follow you to other sites.
How we use it
- To run the games: matchmaking, rooms, saving your progress, leaderboards and replays.
- To keep the games fair and friendly: moderation, reports, mutes and bans.
- To improve the games, using play statistics and error reports.
- To share highlights. Plays from public matches, with screen names, may appear in highlight videos and posts on our YouTube, Discord and social media channels. If you'd rather a clip of you weren't used, email us and we'll take it down.
- To post in our Discord: when a new player joins, and when a public game is looking for players. These posts show screen names and the game, nothing more.
- To email you, only if you've opted in.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the services that run the games for us, and only what they need:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, replay storage and email.
- Discord and Google: sign-in, and our Discord community.
- Stripe: payments.
- CrazyGames and itch.io: when you play on their sites, their own policies cover what they collect.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players and the service from abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress while your account exists. Replays are kept so players can watch past games. Server logs are kept for a short time and then rotated away. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see below).
Your choices
- You can play without signing in. Guests get a temporary name and nothing is saved to an account.
- You can change your screen name and stop emails at any time.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. Email hello@puckit.gg from the address linked to your account, or tell us your screen name and how you sign in. We'll delete your account and progress, and remove your name from replays and highlights we control.
Children
The games aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you're under 13, please play as a guest without signing in. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
Connections to our games use encryption (HTTPS), sign-in uses your Discord or Google account rather than a password we store, and access to our servers is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't share anything in chat you wouldn't want seen.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll post a notice in the game or our Discord.
